Unusual Fruit Festival

A celebration of unusual fruits at Threefold Farm
October 7, 2023 — 11 am to 4 pm

Come and join us in celebrating our eclectic, organic orchard with all its fun and funky fruits!

Try pawpaws, figs, or kiwi berries for the first time, tour our orchard, shop local vendors, and pet our goats! Admission, tours, and talks are free.

Activities

Unusual Fruit Tasting
($5 for 7 samples, Berry Barn)
Come and sample a variety of unusual fruits including pawpaws, kiwi berries, and figs

Orchard Tours @ 11:30am & 1:30pm - Start at Berry Barn
(free, approx 1 hour tour, starts at Berry Barn)
Come on a guided tour of our orchard of unusual fruits: pawpaws, figs, kiwi berries, and persimmons, as well as see our geothermal climate battery greenhouses used to grow our figs. Approximately 1 hour, 0.5 miles on uneven ground.

Pumpkin Painting
($3+, decorating included in cost of pumpkin)
Pick out your own pumpkin and decorate it!

Goat Petting Zoo
(free, petting zoo is located next to the vendor area)
Visit our friendly goats and give them a pet!

We welcome you to walk around and enjoy the farm while you’re here!

Unfortunately, we can’t have any pets on the property due to food safety restrictions.

We would ask that you please refrain from picking your own fruit, and from going into the greenhouses outside of the tour times.

We’re located just minutes from I-81, Route 15, and the I-76 turnpike.

For guests coming from out of town, we are very close to Mechanicsburg and Carlisle, both of which feature a variety of overnight accommodations.

We are just a 5 minute drive from the excellent Allenberry Resort in historic Boiling Springs.
